Approached by the Chartered Insurance Institute, initially for CDM works for the exterior stone masonry of their prestigious, listed building in the heart of London. The work involved scaffolding six storeys in addition to major repairs including new works to the façade of the building up to and including the roof.
In addition to the CDM-C role, we were also asked in our professional capacity as RICS accredited surveyors to report on the building condition and defects as the exterior stonework was removed and the structure below exposed.
Whilst undertaking this work, we were asked to produce a measured survey of the interiors, including furniture layouts in AutoCAD to enable future space planning exercises by the client.
